Thank You Satellite East Middle School for inviting Breaking The Cycle to your school. We hope the stories that you heard and the "Why Forgive?" book that you recieved help you to use forgiveness in your life rather than violence as a way to solve problems.

It was great to be with you all at the Patchogue-Medford High School and thank you for welcoming our staff and speakers so warmly.

What can one say?  Up to 1 million people – one tenth of the population – were massacred right here just 14 years ago.  At first, we dreaded the idea of traveling to this country, but now we thank God for allowing this trip to happen. 

It was great to be back at East Islip again after a few years. Christoph, Sergio and Hashim gave a powerful message of forgiveness. There are so many ways we hurt each other everyday. Hopefully by hearing their stories you are inspired to use forgiveness in your lives. Have a safe and happy holiday season.

To the students and staff at Lawrence Road Middle School. Thank you for all your efforts in the Peace Makers program. Congratulations to the winners of the poster contest. Keep up the good work. Don't forget what Steven McDonald told you. "You are special, there is no one in the world like you." Keep peace and forgiveness in your lives and your school.

Thank you for inviting Breaking The Cycle to your beautiful school. Remember "You are special". Forgiving each other does work. Give it a try this holiday season.

Thank you students and staff of Acorn High School for Social Justice for  your attention and respect while you listened to Kareem's story. You have a beautiful school! Remember that it is important to respect and listen to your parents and teachers.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the Breaking The Cycle retreat 2008. It was a powerful experience of people from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds working together, each in their way, to make this world a better place.

It does not matter how and where we work in society. All of us have one goal -- to make this world a better place for our children. So let us seek ways to do this together. This can only be achieved through forgiveness.

It was great to be at the Virginia School Safety Conference in Hampton, VA. on August 5th 2008. We hope everyone went home encouraged and with new ideas for the new school year that is almost here.
